Joseph Giulitto grew up chasing two loves: motorcycles and adventure. His childhood heroes were Indiana Jones and James Bond—men who crossed borders, chased mystery, and lived for the next unknown.
As an adult he entered finance and spent more than twenty years serving high-net-worth clients. A young family pulled him off adventure bikes and onto other off-road machines. The desire never left.
When the children were grown and gone, he did not hesitate. He bought an adventure bike and looked for something beyond the ordinary: culture, mystery, intriguing people, and a route that still let him return to corporate life on time. Baja was that place.
The moment he crossed the border the world changed. Food better than hotels north of the line. Kind, generous people. Epic terrain. White-sugar beaches meeting crystal water, mountains rising into a big blue Spanish sky. A movie set. A fairytale. He has run the peninsula more than forty times and still cannot get enough.
